The story behind Canithermo is, above all, the story of a love that ended in suffering.

For 15 years, I shared my life with Fidji : my dog, my companion, my best friend.

She came into my life during adolescence, at a time that was anything but easy. She was always there: helping me, supporting me, never judging me, and somehow always understanding.

She was generous, gentle, courageous, full of love.

Fidji was the wind, a daughter of wide-open spaces, a siren of rivers and streams.

Playful when I needed joy. Calm when I needed silence.

She was my sunshine.

Then, in the twilight of her life, I watched helplessly as she gradually lost her energy, her vitality, and her freedom to move.

With arthritis, degenerative myelopathy and epilepsy, every movement became more difficult. Pain became part of her daily life.

Alongside her veterinary care, I tried everything: food supplements in every form, many of which she refused because they were not palatable enough or impossible for her to chew without teeth; human anti-bedsore mattresses; every solution I could find.

When she left, in the middle of that immense emptiness, I felt that although she had always been there for me, I had not been able to be there for her in the way she deserved.

So I created Canithermo.

The range was designed for all types of dogs, from young adults to seniors, including highly active dogs, because pain should not only be addressed when it becomes visible. In many cases, mobility can be supported earlier and more comprehensively, through both internal and external prevention.
