Who is behind Canithermo?

Canithermo is a French brand founded by a self-employed nurse passionate about animal welfare.

The idea was born from a personal experience: supporting her own dog when it faced joint and spinal problems, and noticing the lack of solutions that were practical, targeted, and designed for everyday life.

This culture of care, combined with her experience as a pet owner, now guides the development of Canithermo.

What exactly is Canithermo?

Canithermo develops solutions dedicated to dogs' mobility and joint comfort.

The brand currently focuses on two areas: an adjustable thermal support garment and the MOBILITY joint support range.

This range currently includes two products: MOBILITY GRIP in powder form and MOBILITY PACE in liquid form.

Other products are under development. We prefer to take the time to design, test, and improve each solution before it is marketed.

What is the Canithermo garment used for?

The Canithermo garment is designed to provide targeted thermal support to certain areas of the dog's body.

Its adjustable system consists of two parts that can be used together or separately, depending on the animal's needs.

It was designed particularly to support dogs with joint sensitivity, senior dogs, and dogs subjected to significant physical activity.

Important: the Canithermo garment is a device intended for the animal's comfort. It does not replace a diagnosis, treatment, or veterinary follow-up. In the event of pain, limping, or an unusual change in your dog's mobility, consult your veterinarian.

Is the garment scientifically validated?

A field study is currently underway.

We will not communicate any results or efficacy claims until the collected data has been analyzed. We wish to communicate only what we are able to substantiate.

Who are MOBILITY GRIP and MOBILITY PACE for?

The products in the MOBILITY range were formulated to support the joint needs of adult dogs.

They can notably be incorporated into the routine of senior dogs, dogs subjected to intense physical activity, or dogs with special mobility needs.

They are not intended to replace a balanced diet or veterinary care.

For a growing puppy, a dog with a known medical condition, or an animal already undergoing treatment, seek your veterinarian's advice before use.

What is the difference between MOBILITY GRIP and MOBILITY PACE?

MOBILITY GRIP is a powder formula whose key ingredient is PETAGILE®, a collagen peptide complex selected to support the musculoskeletal system.

MOBILITY PACE is a liquid formula containing notably UC-II®, as well as fish oil, rosehip, algae oil, and vitamin E.

The two products therefore have different formulations and modes of action. The choice depends on the dog's needs and how you wish to incorporate the product into its diet.

Are MOBILITY products medicines?

No.

MOBILITY GRIP and MOBILITY PACE are complementary dog foods. They fall under the European regulations applicable to animal feed, notably Regulation (EC) No 767/2009.

They are not veterinary medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure a disease.

They should not replace a treatment prescribed by a veterinarian.

Can MOBILITY GRIP or MOBILITY PACE be used at the same time as a veterinary treatment?

If your dog is undergoing medical treatment or is under special veterinary follow-up, ask your veterinarian's advice before introducing a new complementary food.

This allows you to check, in particular, that its use is appropriate for your animal's individual situation.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

My dog has a diagnosed medical condition. Can I use Canithermo products?

Canithermo products are designed to support dogs' comfort and mobility. They are not intended to treat a disease.

If your dog has a diagnosed medical condition (osteoarthritis, dysplasia, spinal condition, or any other disease), seek your veterinarian's advice before use.

Only your veterinarian knows the clinical status of your animal and can determine whether a product is suitable as part of its care.

Can I use Canithermo if my dog does not have any particular joint problems?

Some Canithermo products may also be suitable for dogs subjected to significant physical demands or whose needs change with age.

However, use must remain appropriate to the dog's profile and follow the recommendations specific to each product.

I cannot choose the garment size. What should I do?
